Staying Home

I really like staying home. I get so much work done and things run a lot smoother around here. Last week and this one have been unusually busy. We had two field trips and another scheduled on Friday. I usually only schedule one a month but they were so good I couldn't resist. Last Friday we went to view "Ocean Encounters". JK got to touch a shark, sea star (I found out these are not called star fishes any more), crabs, eels and various other sea creatures. It was really neat.

Yesterday we visited a TV station which JK really liked. I did, too! The evening anchorman was the one who gave us the tour and he did a great job. Friday we're going to see the play "Patchwork" based on Laura Wilder. We've seen several plays from this production company so it should be good.

Today I did lots of errands: grocery shopping, library, post office, etc. My feet hurt now.

Tomorrow JM gets four of his teeth pulled! He'll probably do better than me :-).

So, I'm looking forward to the next few weeks at home. I'm behind in a lot of things and need to catch up. I like wearing my sweats all day (at least until dh comes home) and JK loves wearing hers, too.
