A Delicious Pasta Salad

JK is going to a cookout tonight. The older high school girls at church have invited the middle school girls to join them to a reunion of sorts. Earlier this winter the older girls hosted a girls' retreat for them. The older ones encouraged the girls by devotions, talks on Bible study and purity and just plain fun!

JK and I make this to take:

Rainbow Pasta Salad

1 package (1 lb.) tricolor spiral pasta
2 medium carrots, shredded
1 large red onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 t celery seed or 2 celery ribs, chopped
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened, condensed milk
1 C vinegar
1 C mayonnaise (I used Miracle Whip)
3/4 C sugar
1 t salt
1/2 to 1 t pepper

Cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse in cold water and drain; place in a large bowl. Add carrots, onion, green pepper and celery. In another bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over pasta mixture; toss to coat. Cover; refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. 12-14 servings.
