Happy Independence Day!!

Tomorrow we're having family and friends over for a bbq and then we are off to see the Richmond Braves play the Ottowa Lynx. After the game, there will be a fantastic show of fireworks. I think it's the best in the city! We've made this our Independence Day tradition for many years now and we always look forward to going.

I hope you all have a safe and joyous 4th of July!

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance--Psalm 33:12

Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth--Psalm 46:10

God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; He is great exalted--Psalm 47:8-9

He rules forever by His power, His eyes watch the nations--let not the rebellious rise up against Him--Psalm 66:7

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face sine upon us that Your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations--Psalm 67:2

May His name endure forever; may it contine as long as the sun. All nations will be blessed through Him and they will call Him blessed--Psalm 72:17

Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples--Psalm 96:3

The Lord is exalted over all the nations, His glory above the heavens.
