A Poem From Big Sister to Little Sister

This is a poem that Jessica wrote for Julianne. It's great!

I know that your tummy hurts really bad
And everyone around you is probably sad
You have stitches that go in and out
And that will probably make you pout

You were so strong in your hospital bed
You're lucky your appendix is not in your head
Now that you are missing something inside
Your tummy can keep growing from side to side (just kidding)

I'm glad you're my sister and you take a joke
Because I really like to make fun and poke
So for now, have a good day and God bless
To my little sister who is appendix-less.

I love it! What fun memories she made for both of them.

Yes, they have a very special bond between them. I'm convinced it's because of homeschooling. If they had spent their growing up years apart, I don't think they would have been as close.
