I went into the kitchen awhile ago and there were ants all over a cake that Julianne made the other day. Eewwwww. I hate ants. I think I found the where they're getting in and I made my carbon footprint larger because I sprayed them to death!
I took the bandages off this morning and my stitches look good. My arm is sore but not too bad. I got back for a follow-up next Thursday.

I haven't been taking much pictures lately but here's a video of Julianne getting her green belt in karate:

JESUS IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE OBJECT OF SAVING FAITH
Some people think it doesn't matter what you believe as long as you're sincere. But without a valid object your faith is useless.
If you take poison--thinking it's medicine--all the faith in the world won't restore your life. Similarly, if Jesus is the only source of salvation, and you're trusting in anyone or anything else for your salvation, your faith is useless.
Many people assume there are many paths to God and that each religion represents an aspect of truth. But Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me" (John 14:6). He didn't claim to be one of many equally legitimate paths to God, or the way to God for His day only. He claimed to be the only way to God--then and forever.
Please see the complete tract here at Grace to You to learn more about the true way of salvation.
I pray that this girl will come to know that wearing something or doing something is not going to save her, only trust in Christ alone will save her.

I also made a mistake in the color of the kitchen. Ugh. Now I need to buy another gallon of the right color. Off I go back to Lowe's. Again.

Yesterday and today Julianne and I went to the first two days of King's Fest. It was a great line up of bands and we had a wonderful time! Pictures and videos to be uploaded later. Goodnight!
We went with friends to see the Richmond Braves play like we do almost every year for the 4th of July. They put on the best fireworks show in Richmond. They are leaving our city after this year so I'm not sure what we'll be doing July 4th, 2009!!
The Braves tied the game in the bottom of the 9th and we ended up going to 14 innings. At that point, we were all ready for somebody to win so we could watch the fireworks. The Braves lost and the fireworks started around 11:00. We were so tired!!
Here's a picture of our friends' little boy waiting patiently, but very tired, for the fireworks to begin:
